What a great experience. “A Soldiers Song” was brilliantly performed by professional musicians. The power point pictures of battle scenes of the Civil War and those who narrated produced a unique look at the war between the states. The poignant narration of nights before horrific battles when music could be heard from both sides of the battle lines was chilling to say the least. This was a performance any Civil War and/or music buff would have thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks to everyone who put this together for our community. On this night, Columbia State fulfilled its mission as a “community college”.Gene E HumphrysDean of Humanities and Social SciencesAssociate Professor of SociologyColumbia State Community College
